Mountain biking
is a great way to get a total body
workout. Although you are pedaling
down the trail, you are also using your core
for balance and agility to avoid rocks,
roots and other obstacles. Please
note: At this time, you must provide
your own bike, certified to have been
checked out by a local bike shop, at the
first group meeting.

1. Mountain
bike skills and fitness groups:
These are groups of 2-4 people that want to
learn basic mountain bike skills, or improve
on what they already know. Expect to
start the session with an outdoor conditioning
warm-up, followed by skills and closing with a
ride of different lengths depending upon
whether the group is applying their skills, or
generally doing an workout ride.
2.
Cross-training to strengthen you mountain
bike fitness and muscles: We will
develop a plan for you either in the gym, or
out of doors, that will strengthen your
fitness and make you a more controlled, and
fit, athlete!
